Cisco has outlined a Global Mobile Data Projections which illustrates how mobile data will take over the whole data networks. The upshots will be beyond belief as mobile data traffic will be approaching an annual rate of 75 Hexabytes by 2015. In this huge amount of annual rate, video streaming will hold top spot in terms of bytes. Here are demographics of Cisco’s forecast by the numbers:

It is clearly visible that Laptops and Smartphones will be leading the graph in 2015 if the pace of development goes unchanged. The Number of machine-to-machine nodes is burgeoning with a great pace and it is projected that in 2015, there will be about 1.5 billion machine-to-machine nodes. The mobile will be a key device in upcoming years to grab bytes. The graph below shows various segments where data will be consumed:

And finally, the data division geographically will change a lot too. It is projected that the Middle East and Africa are going to double the stats. The graph below illustrates the c
ompound annual growth rate of mobile data traffic:

Whatever these stats tell, it is for sure that mobiles, Smartphone's, laptops and notebooks are going to revolutionize the way people use internet. However it will take time in some regions but it is inevitable to prepare ourselves for this revolution.
